Terms of service.

By signing up or using clipsy.fun, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms over time — we will tell you when we do.

You must be at least 13 years old to use clipsy.fun. If you are using clipsy on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your account or impersonate someone else.

Clips you import and the videos clipsy produces stay yours. We do not claim ownership of the source clips, transcripts, captions, or final outputs.

You grant clipsy.fun a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transcode, transcribe, caption, and (when you ask us to) publish your content to the platforms you connect. The license exists only to operate the service and ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for confirming you have the right to use any clip you import — including clips of broadcasters you do not own. Do not import or publish content that infringes someone else's copyright, likeness rights, or platform terms.

When you connect a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, or Kick account, you authorize clipsy to act on your behalf for the scopes you grant. You can revoke that authorization at any time in settings or directly with the platform.

Do not use clipsy.fun to process or publish content that is illegal, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, deceptive in a way meant to defraud, or that incites violence.

Do not scrape clipsy, attempt to break our rate limits, reverse-engineer the pipeline, resell access, or use clipsy to overwhelm a downstream platform's API.

Each downstream platform (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Kick, Instagram) has its own rules. Do not use clipsy to evade content moderation, suspensions, or terms imposed by those platforms.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these rules, if a connected platform requires us to, or if continued operation poses a risk to clipsy or other users. We will tell you why when we can.

clipsy.fun is provided as-is. We work hard to keep things running and accurate, but we do not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free output, or that the AI-generated captions, titles, or hashtags will be perfect.

clipsy depends on APIs from Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and others. If those platforms change, deprecate, or restrict their APIs, parts of clipsy may stop working temporarily or permanently. We will fix what we can.

To the maximum extent the law allows, clipsy.fun is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us anything.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which clipsy.fun is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located there.

When we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will notify you in-app or by email and update the "last updated" date below. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
